How To Buy Hosting From Namecheap?

If you’re going to purchase a hosting package from Namecheap, this guide is for you.

  1. Follow these simple steps to order hosting.
  2. Click on the Hosting tab.
  3. Choose the service/package you require, the desired billing cycle (monthly or yearly), and the Datacenter location (US, UK, or EU) and click Get Started:
  4. After a plan is chosen, you will be forwarded to the Domain Name Connection:

Here you can either connect an already. existing domain (from Namecheap or third-party) or register a new one.

This is the New Domain Name option. It offers you the chance to search for a new domain on this step or connect a domain that may already be present in your incart.

NOTE: The Already in Cart option will be greyed out and not clickable under there isn’t a Domain in the Cart.

All domain selection will be on one page if you click on the New Purchase option.

Type the domain  then select either one of the offered domains, or click View All TLDs to select one of them.

  1. Click the Connect To Hosting button to proceed:

NOTE: In the case that you have chosen to bill the hosting monthly, the price of the domain will respectively change. Here you will have the counterpart warning sign:

If you have added one or more domains into Shopping Cart and you want one of them to become your main domain with which you will host your site, you are able to do that by accounting on the Already in Cart option.

If there are more than one domain, you will have the ability to select which of the domains should be the primary for this particular hosting package:

  1. Once the domain is added and the hosting package you desire, click Add to Cart to move buying:
  2. You will then have the ability to review how you’ve ordered on the nextPage. If you have a coupon, enter it here. Click on Order Confirmation to submit your order:
  3. Once you have finished your order, choose the payment method for your hosting package. There are three different payment methods to use: Credit Card, Paypal, Account Money.
  4. The next page will present you with the listing and finally let you acknowledge our terms and agreements, following which you must scroll down to the bottom and click on ‘Pay Now’ to continue as illustrated below. A Shared hosting account is normally set up instantly, occasionally, it might take up to 30 – 60 minutes. Your Hosting Welcome Email will be sent to you upon account activation and contain all the details of your log-in, including settings and instructions concerning the account. 

NOTE 1: Ensure that the same hosting package is not already being used for the same domain name before purchasing a new hosting package – this will reduce confusion in the future.
